Welcome to UCF and congratulations on your recent appointment.  Below you will find information about two required orientations that will help to ensure your successful transition into your new role.

The New Faculty Academic Orientation

The two-day Academic Orientation serves several purposes related to promoting faculty success.  It provides new faculty members with information about policies and procedures that will directly impact their work in and beyond the classroom, offers participants opportunities to connect with new colleagues and campus leaders, and presents attendees with a preview of the many kinds of professional development resources and opportunities available to them throughout the year.  The event takes place in the FAIRWINDS Alumni Center and Classroom 1 buildings on the Orlando Campus and includes complimentary breakfast and lunch events on both days.

Human Resources New Employee Orientation

New Employee Orientation provides an overview of UCF’s culture and mission, as well as information on payroll and benefits. Important policies and procedures are discussed, and various support resources available to UCF employees are presented. As an added convenience, UCF Card Services will be onsite to take your picture for your employee identification card. Click here for more information.
